Regarding the results

Unfortunately, the timing was handled entirely manually. We only recorded the finish time (based on the bib number), as we were not able to implement an official timing system using chips or the RaceID app in time for the event.

For the first participants in each starting group, the recorded times are very close to their actual finish times, since they all started together. However, for those who started further back, the recorded times may not match the times you measured yourselves, for example on your Garmin watches.

We will of course take this into account for future events and continue improving Sigtunarännet to make it an even better experience for everyone.

Sunday, February 15 promises a true public celebration in the town of Sigtuna – a wonderful day on the ice for both participants and spectators. Conditions look very promising, although the forces of weather can be unpredictable.

Come join as a participant or cheer from the sidelines!

The first start is at 10:00 AM on the waterfront promenade by Soldäcksbryggan in Sigtuna.

Starts will take place in smaller groups, with the Full distance (50 km) beginning first for those who want to race fast. After that, you may start at any time between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM.

50 km – Men & Women
25 km – Men & Women
